Jason Matkowski

Jason Matkowski works closely with clients and manages senior searches across many functional areas. He has recruited senior executives in the Pharmaceutical, Biotech, and Contract Research services industries including the Heads of Sales, Business Development, Marketing, Clinical and Pre-Clinical Development.

Jason transitioned into conducting executive searches in the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industry by joining Caliber Associates. He worked closely with clients and placed Executives in the areas of General Management, Business Development, Marketing, Clinical and Pre-Clinical Development within early stage start up and publicly traded Pharmaceutical companies.

Jason was the first employee hired into the boutique Executive Search Firm, The Evan Scott Group. He was responsible for developing the computer systems and infrastructure for the organization. He also established the research group, carried out the full life-cycle executive searches, developed overall business objectives and strategies. He specialized in placing C-level executives and direct reports within information technology start-up companies backed by some of the most recognized Venture Capital firms including Bessemer Venture Partners, Charles River Ventures, and Columbia Capital.

Jason started his executive search career with Raymond Karsan Associates (now Kenexa). He was responsible for total lifecycle recruitment efforts from requisition definition to sourcing and placing qualified Executives within Fortune 100 and Venture backed start up companies.

Jason holds a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Applied Behavioral Science with a minor in Human Resource Management from Pennsylvania State University.
