The Director of Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics (PK/PD) will be the scientific leader for the PK/PD Reports and Analyses team in Canada. The individual will directly manage a team of twenty-two scientists and will lead the overall preparation of PK/PD study reports. It is the Director's responsibility to ensure that PK/PD studies are scientifically sound, medically appropriate and results conducted and monitored according to GCP/ICH guidelines (specifically for TPD, FDA and EMEA submissions). Studies will be conducted for a variety of sponsors including the world's major pharmaceutical, biotech, and generic companies. The range of studies will include Pre-clinical to Phase IV trials, bioequivalence/bioavailability studies, and population PK/PD studies. Expected travel for the position will vary. The maximum expectation would be a trip per month, or as little as once every three months.
