The Global Brand Manager will develop and implement comprehensive global marketing strategies for assigned products. This individual will communicate with clients and key thought leaders who are involved with Oncology, Liver Cancer and Nuclear Medicine research to understand their challenges and needs; then translate these needs to the company's development team to incorporate solutions into the company's products and/or services. The Global Brand Manager will guide the refinement of products to capitalize on opportunities for TheraSphere on a global level. The Global Brand Manager will identify market needs and define features and attributes to differentiate MDS Nordion's products in order to maintain a competitive advantage. As the primary marketing expert, the Global Brand Manager will monitor and evaluate product development programs, product performance and modifications.

The Global Brand Manager will expand awareness of their product on a global basis. This individual will conduct market research, market sizing and analysis of potential markets throughout the world. The Global Brand Manager will determine scope of market, penetration and potential; identify trends and new opportunities; collect competitive intelligence; and identify and understand customer needs and satisfaction. This will include determining regulatory and reimbursement requirements in countries where the product has not yet been approved.

The Global Brand Manager will also provide high level sales support and act as a conduit to communicate changes effectively to the organization. This will included developing marketing materials and providing support to the sales force in order to drive market adoption of TheraSphere. The Global Brand manager will also coordinate the product pricing, advertising and distribution policies.
